Our Technical Graduate programme allows you to gain hands on experience and knowledge across technology, building the technical skills needed to succeed in these areas at the end of the 2-year placement. Opportunities on the programme span across various areas of technology including: Software development, Digital mobile application development (iOS / Android platforms), Object orientated programming (Java), Information Security, Architecture and Design , User Integration / User Experience Design / Development, Data Engineering and Data Science, Database management, Software maintenance, support and Testing

The role is all about…

  • Exposure to the full software development lifecycle on exciting new projects that will revolutionise the way we do things
  • Contributing to the Agile development teams to help us drive our digital agenda
  • Managing 3rd party vendor application integration including extracting external code and integrating into CYB systems
  • Working closely with experienced professionals on highly varied and interesting change that drives our strategic direction
  • Interpreting requirements and contributing ideas in order to create efficient, innovative and highly functional solutions
  • Understanding our Business and working with them to realise our goals

  • Ability to build productive working relationships and be a credible team player
  • Most importantly we need you to be passionate about being involved at the heart of our business, with one eye on what we are delivering today and the other on the future planning for the bank
  • A strong academic record achieved, or be on track to achieve, a 2:1 – all disciplines considered
