The Senior Product Analyst role within the Products Analytics team in Customer Value Management works closely with stakeholders across the Bank, including the Product teams, to understand the performance of our products against the context of internal targets and the external market, whilst also identifying opportunities and supporting the development and execution of our product strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role working across the broad range of our products and services with the aim of ensuring that we understand what is driving our product performance and are well positioned to meet our business objectives.
We're looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual, who is ready to make a real difference. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting different product lines, which therefore requires good knowledge of our products and the supporting processes within CYB.
To be successful in the role you will need to be a good team player, numerate, commercial, able to manage multiple tasks and have an aptitude for logical problem solving.
The role is all about…
Monitoring, analysing and understanding the performance of a range of products distributed across our distribution channels.
Supporting specific ‘deep dive’ work on key themes that have been identified and need further analysis.
Undertaking commercial analysis required to support changes to products or new product analysis.
Working collaboratively on tasks that require input from a number of sources.
Ensuring that we understand and can clearly explain our product line performance in the context of the wider market.
Using customer, market and competitor analysis to understand external market developments and work with the Product teams to understand the implications of these on CYB.
Monitoring the performance of our products to ensure that they are in line with expectations across a range of performance metrics.
Supporting the preparation of pricing proposals for consideration at the Portfolio Management Committee in line with the agreed process.
Proactively managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Supporting a number of regulatory returns across our product range
It’s essential you have…
self-motivation coupled with commercial experience across the Financial Services Industry.
proven ability to use data to make commercial decisions, analyse trends, explain performance and make recommendations relevant to the business.
experience of using analysis tools including Excel and SAS.
the ability to manage a range of stakeholders with different objectives to achieve the best customer and commercial outcome
a strong understanding of the commercial drivers for the CYB product range
knowledge of the key aspects of portfolio management including funding, capital, risk and returns.
broad product knowledge.
the ability to interpret the impact of industry, regulatory, and economic factors and events and apply to our product lines
the ability to effectively works across all levels internally and with external parties
a passion for working within a team with the skills to provide support to colleagues
