Traffic/Workflow Manager needed for B&M Creative Production team

What’s the job really all about?
The Traffic/Workflow Manager, Creative Production is accountable for:
Daily management and maintenance of studio workflow system / Job tracker ensuring there is a clear and central view of all jobs in studio at any one time
Review all new studio briefs (prior to daily production meeting) and amends briefs (prior to allocation) to ensure all relevant information has been provided. Where necessary revert to job owner where additional information is required or timescales need negotiating
Work closely with stakeholders to understand priority / urgency / size of studio requests to help with planning studio resource allocation
Work with Design and Copy Managers to understand resource availability and manage the daily allocation of both new and amend briefs
Chair weekly studio planning meetings with key stakeholders) to understand the priority /urgency / size of business challenges and near to mid-term initiatives and how they impact studio capacity and capability
Provide daily studio status updates to key stakeholders outlining jobs in, production and jobs out
Provide update on status of all amends at the daily studio production meeting
Provide quality assurance of all amends briefs leaving the studio
Identify process failings or inefficiencies and work with the Design and Operations Manager to implement, communicate and measure effective solutions.
Measure customer satisfaction of the services provided by studio and provide quarterly reports to the Studio Leadership Team, calling out positive and negative trends
Manage the delivery of ad-hoc studio requests from senior business stakeholders
Assist with miscellaneous Studio jobs such as small amends, logo requests, PDFs of existing artwork, FTP requests, proof-reading, helping designers get jobs print-ready, etc.
Keep induction training material up-to-date and provide induction training to new joiners and support to existing colleagues to ensure that studio processes are properly understood and followed
Create a culture of team pride, high standards and continuous improvement
They ensure that all activity delivered meets internal policy standards and is fully compliant with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring that Financial Promotions requirements are met, and full approval and audit trails are recorded where appropriate.
They will have or build an extensive knowledge of communication excellence and the role of different media in achieving commercial objectives
