Within the newly formed Marketing Strategy and Operations’ team, we’re looking for smart, ambitious, energetic individuals who want to come with us on this journey. The successful individual for this role will ideally be a marketing professional with experience and good understanding of the media planning and digital marketing.

The role is all about / Day to day you will…

The Retail Media Planning Manager has overall responsibility for creating and delivering digital media plans that cut across all activity for the Retail franchise in order to ensure the smooth execution of media activity via our media agency.  The key responsibilities are:

  • Owning the media and digital marketing budget which is central to delivering the “pioneering growth” ambitions of the Retail Franchise
  • Guiding the creation of the franchise media plan for aggregator, PPC, display and paid social activity
  • Managing flow of work into media planning team from Retail Franchise Marketing teams
  • Agreeing governance routines with mSix and key aggregators to ensure the smooth and safe day to day delivery of media activity
  • Supporting the Marketing Operations team understand the effectiveness of retail media activities

Ideally you will have / to be brilliant you will bring…

  • Strong experience of media planning and delivering always on digital marketing activity
  • Strong experience in managing media agency relationships
  • Commercially astute with proven ability to ascribe KPIs with tangible business value to media activities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build business relationships throughout the bank and externally with media agencies
  • Good understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the financial services industry
